Welcome to BaxterCountyHistory.org, the online presence of the Baxter County Historical & Genealogical Society, Inc. We are dedicated to discovering, preserving, and showcasing the history of Baxter County, Arkansas. BCH&GS is staffed by volunteers and funded by the generosity of our patrons, which includes dues, fundraising events, and donations. As a non-profit organization under Sec. 501(c)3, all donations, gifts, and legacies are tax deductible.
The goal of this website is to make everyone aware of the resources we have available to anyone who is interested in the rich history of our area. We invite you to explore our website and let us hear from you if you have any questions or requests.
